花果野食趣 Yilan- dinner Oct 23rd

On October 23rd, I was invited by Amon, the organiser of my last trip to Yilan, to join a special dinner in Yilan, organised by a farmer's association called 花果野食趣, which uses local and season's products for this events. Please check their FB website if you want to go and visit:https://www.facebook.com/yes.huago

While we were visiting the farm, waiting for the other guests,
I found this round wood things, with plastic coloured flowers ,at the farm. They really look like as Colombian "silletas". Amon explained to me, these are made in Taiwan for the funeral of people who have lived over 70 years-old, and is like honouring their long-lasting years of life.

This dinner was really special as a famous TV show was shot at the same time. Here is the video, this event is shown after the min 27th, in this popular food tasting show in Taiwan:

I took this photo , as it looked so cute! This picture shows the wide nature, compared with the narrowness of the rabbit cage, hahaha very poetic:)

This image reminds me a song about a bear who was free, until he got caught for a circus show. This, is one of my favourite songs . It talks about freedom and cages...

Then we went to take dinner in the middle of the farm field! We had a great weather , as we were expecting it would rain! It rained, but at least we could start the dinner in the middle of this great landscape!

After this dish, with a crunchy bread filled with duck and vegetables, delicious! It started raining, so we had to take each one our respective plates, to go indoor.

Once indoor, we continued the dinner, time for these pork ribs.  I didn't tried them but seems they were delicious!

Then it was the dessert-part, with passion fruit filled with another delicious fruit, sweet and sour flavour!

While I was eating, I put a hand in my legs and experienced a very sticky thing on my jean....it was a cute snail,  making efforts to climb up!

He was so cute that I made a video:

The name :"pole pole"means "slow-down' in swahili Language in Tanzania. I learned this word from a concert I have been recently at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, Arnold Chiwala and his band.
Here I share one of this band songs!

Then after this great dinner, it was important to be grateful with the God of the farm, this Golden Hen:)

Thank you Amon and thank you 花果野食趣 for this opportunity to have such a great dinner, in such a lovely place!
